The Fast And The Furious only exists for one reason, to show you wall to wall fast cars, and it certainly doesn't let you down. This is such a great genre movie, designed simply to give you wild 90 minute ride, it's packed with huge cars being thrashed and driven as hard as possible. A gang of hijackers are using super slick cars to knock off tucks and sell on the contents. The police send in an undercover cop, Brian (Paul Walker), who must infiltrate the underground world of illegal street racing.The king of the scene is local legend Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), if Brian is going to find out anything about the hijackers he's got to get in with Dominic and his crew. From there on its streetracing, fist fights and tough guys bonding as Brian gets drawn deeper and deeper into Dominic's world. Director Rob Cohen knows what his audience wants and gives it to them in spades, the soundtrack doesn't let up for a minute and he knows exactly how to use the ever excellent Vin Diesel, framing likea giant who dominates the film. Oh, one more point, make sure you watch right to the end of the credits to see the final fate of one of the characters. |
ORGANISE SOUTH CRUISE 2
The Organise South Cruise 2 has now been planned and sorted and will be taking place on the 2nd of March. This will be a convoy only event and will be held in the south of England. The Organise South team and the South of England cruise team have joined forces to bring you what should be one of the biggest cruises this year. If the SOE cruises ( Guildford/Farnham) are anything to go by then you'll know what to expect!
So, the details:
There will be many convoys going from all round the country but for now we will be listing the main meeting points and times.
Convoys are as follows:
South Mimms - Meeting in the usual carpark at 6.30 to leave at 7.00
Thurrock services - Meet at 7.30 to leave about 8.00
A3 BP Wisley services Northbound - Meet at 6.30 leaving about 7.00
Clackett lane ANTI clockwise - Meet at 7.30 leaving at 8.00
